The Dalmore Port Wood Reserve is a Highland single malt finished in Tawny Port pipes from W&J Graham’s, adding a rich fruit influence to the distillery’s signature style. The nose opens with aromas of red berries, plums, and citrus peel layered with vanilla and chocolate. On the palate, it is smooth and full-bodied, offering flavors of toffee, figs, and dark fruit balanced by orange zest, spice, and roasted nuts. The texture is velvety and refined, leading into a long, elegant finish of port sweetness, oak, and lingering cocoa.

Food Pairings

As a starter, pair it with spiced almonds, charcuterie, or smoked salmon. For a main course, it complements roasted duck, lamb chops with red wine reduction, or braised short ribs. In the cheese course, blue cheese, aged gouda, or manchego balance its rich fruitiness. For dessert, it pairs beautifully with dark chocolate mousse, berry tarts, or sticky toffee pudding.
