Ardbeg Uigeadail is a powerhouse Islay single malt that marries intense peat smoke with a rich sherry cask influence. The nose opens with deep layers of tarry smoke, charcoal, and earthy peat, balanced by dark dried fruits, treacle, and hints of leather. On the palate, the whisky is bold and oily, carrying waves of smoked bacon, espresso, molasses, and spiced fruitcake, all wrapped in a distinctive maritime brininess. The finish is long and resonant, echoing smoked malt, black pepper, and a lingering sweetness from the sherry wood.
