Tasting Notes

Clase Azul Añejo, often called Edición Indígena-Mazahua, is a premium tequila aged for 25 months in carefully selected oak barrels. The nose opens with aromas of roasted agave, vanilla, and caramel layered with toasted oak, dried fruit, and spice. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, delivering flavors of toffee, honey, and butterscotch balanced by cinnamon, clove, and subtle tobacco. The texture is velvety and elegant, leading into a long, warming finish of oak, sweet agave, and lingering spice.

Food Pairings

As a starter, pair it with roasted almonds, charcuterie, or smoked salmon crostini. For a main course, it complements grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, or roasted duck with cherry glaze.
