Ilegal Mezcal Añejo is an artisanal mezcal crafted from 100% Espadín agave, aged for 13 months in a combination of American and French oak barrels. The nose opens with rich aromas of roasted agave, caramel, and toasted oak layered with vanilla, dark chocolate, and baking spice. On the palate, it is smooth and full-bodied, offering flavors of toffee, honey, and dried fruit balanced by smoky undertones, pepper, and a touch of leather. The finish is long and warming, with lingering notes of oak, caramel, and sweet smoke.
