Ilegal Mezcal Reposado is a smooth, artisanal mezcal crafted in Oaxaca, Mexico, from 100% Espadín agave. Rested for 4 months in American oak barrels, it balances mezcal’s signature smokiness with added warmth and depth. The nose opens with roasted agave, oak, and caramel, accented by hints of vanilla and spice. On the palate, it is rich yet approachable, offering flavors of toffee, butterscotch, and light chocolate, layered with gentle smoke and pepper. The finish is medium to long, with lingering notes of oak, caramel, and sweet smoke.
