Kavalan Solist Pedro Ximénez is a single cask, cask strength single malt whisky aged exclusively in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks imported from Spain. Produced by the King Car Distillery in Taiwan, Kavalan has gained global acclaim for its rapid maturation process, made possible by the island’s subtropical climate. The whisky is aged in underground cellars with precise temperature and humidity control, allowing for deep wood extraction and accelerated development of complex characteristics. Every cask is individually selected for bottling and never blended, preserving the full, unaltered integrity of the maturation process. Non-chill filtered and free from artificial coloring, each release is bottled at natural cask strength, ensuring authenticity from barrel to bottle.
