Pinhook Bourbon War 7 Year is a limited-release Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, part of Pinhook’s vertical series that follows one group of barrels as they mature year after year. Distilled at Castle & Key and aged for seven years, it shows depth and maturity while retaining the distillery’s bright style. The nose opens with aromas of caramel, vanilla, and honey accented by toasted oak, baking spice, and dried fruit. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, offering flavors of toffee, roasted nuts, cocoa, and cinnamon balanced by citrus peel, clove, and subtle herbal notes. The texture is smooth yet powerful, reflecting the added years in oak. The finish is long and warming, with lingering notes of caramel, spice, and seasoned oak.
